Bio

Hi, we are Daniela and Dwayne, a couple who finds enjoyment in inspiring other people to explore the world and its multitude of cultures. A beautiful monument, a signature dish, a talk with a local or an unplanned experience (sometimes even an unpleasant one); they are all part of a beautiful puzzle, we put together while coming out of our comfort zone to explore unfamiliar territories.

This quote from the late Anthony Bourdain, perfectly summarizes how we see travel:
"Travel isn't always pretty. It isn't always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts, it even breaks your heart. But that's OK. The journey changes you; it should change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart, and on your body. You take something with you. Hopefully, you leave something good behind."

In order for travel to change you, you have to let it. You have to experience it while keeping your preconceptions on a side. Taste that dish even if doesn’t look pretty and maybe sanitary, just make sure to pack on probiotics :), visit the famous landmarks, take that Instagram photo you have planned before even purchasing your plane ticket; but don’t forget to get lost, leave the itinerary behind if something unpredictability interesting comes along. Stop and take a moment to savor that special moment you will remember for the rest of your life. Talk to strangers and observe. Without judgement. With an open mind and heart. Travel for you but also to tell a story when you go back home and inspire others to do the same!
