Bio

My name is Nahuel Martin, I was born in Madrid (Spain) and I sign my work under the name of "SAMEK".

I have found inspiration in various locations, traveling has had a great influence on my creative process and style. I create art because I need to get emotions and vibes out of me, and I specialized in music (starting my piano career at age 7), despite also tending to investigate the branches of graphic, product and clothing design, as well as prose narration. One of my biggest interests is the human mind's complexity.

I would describe my artistic style as deconstructive, essential and minimalist. My motivation comes from pure and ephemeral emotions. My life has always revolved around art. I try to connect with the community by giving my point of view on different topics through my work.

When people see my work, what I want is for them to experience the same emotions that I did at the time of creation, or to find their own ideas and interpretations within them.
