The @olivermachinery 12 1/2” planer is sweet. It has a genuine Byrd Shelix cutterhead and a bunch of extra features you’ll appreciate like a Wixey digital readout and built-in depth stops. In my usage so far, the surface quality has been practically finish-ready and with no snipe. And that’s right out of the box with no tuning.
