Fortnite is known for the mainstream crossover skins and events in-game, and now it appears as though a new Wolverine skin will be introduced to the massively popular multiplayer title.

Wolverine has already been available in the game, but the teaser for the upcoming skin appears to show a different version of Logan.

The leaked image for the Wolverine skin appears to show a version of the iconic character that had a Marvel Comics run as ‘Patch.’

Here’s everything you need to know about the new Wolverine and Fortnite crossover that has been leaked ahead of release.

The leak was revealed on Twitter by @hzjoetv, who wrote: “Looks like Fortnite is getting a NEW Wolverine skin.”

Fans of the game and the Marvel character have been reacting to the leak on r/GamingLeaksandRumours, with many looking forward to the new variant of the beloved X-Men character in the game.

One Redditor said: “As someone who missed the Marvel season, I’m looking forward to it. I hate when they put extremely popular character in the BP, sucks for future players who want those skins.”

It is not yet confirmed if the skin will be a completely new in-game purchase or whether it will be a variant offer for free.

One Redditor noted how the Fortnite developers do not often give away licenced characters for free, saying: “Fortnite is pretty shameless about it but they typically don’t do free variants as part of an existing licensed character. So my money is on this being a brand new Wolverine skin that you have to purchase. They have done this with Spider-Man and Batman.”

Another Redditor also discussed how it’s unlikely that we will see an older battlepass skin of Wolverine make a return: “Definitely new.
