Valeria left the banking industry 9 years ago to create Water Thru Skin, a platform sharing tools and information on sustainable living.

Since then, she has amassed over 210,100 followers on her platforms and is recognized as an environmental activist and public speaker (in both English and Spanish). She has worked with over 150 global brands. In 2019 she used her platforms to raise and donate more than $200k USD to his home country, Bolivia, during the fires that consumed millions of hectares of the Amazon forest.

She recently made another big change, leaving the fast-paced city life for a small town to immerse herself in nature, herbal medicine, eco-responsible home design, plant-based cooking, organic gardening, and slow living.
