The VOUS label was created in 2013 by fashion designer Renee Verdon. Following a successful career in Clinical Psychology Renee embarked on formal fashion design studies at one of the most prestigious fashion schools in Australia 'The Fashion Design Studio, Sydney Institute'.
Derived from the French word for 'you', VOUS garments explore contemporary design. Renee’s trademark inspiration combines the conceptual exploration of ‘self’ with concrete forms of beauty such as the natural environment and cultural references. Each piece is designed for women who enjoy high quality fabrics and interesting silhouettes that have an urban feel.
All VOUS pieces are proudly made in Australia using locally and internationally sourced fabrics and trims. The focus is strongly on sustainable production and ethical practices, steering away from the fast fashion approach.
