The inspiration behind Verses came from a memory. I remember when I was around six years old—my mom and I would memorize Bible verses together. She had a beautiful glass box filled with individual Bible verses. We would pick one out each week and memorize it together.
This memory has served as a reminder to me of how much these words have made an impact in my life. To think that the Word was given to me; as a gift. These words have given me direction, purpose and life. These words are worth reading, they are worth reflecting on—they are worth treasuring.
Verses is a project that reminds us every day of the value of scripture. The design, craftsmanship, weight and feel of each component invites us to admire and reflect on words that are unlike any other.
