MY BACKGROUND

As a creative individual, I’ve always loved having the opportunity to share my ideas, opinions and talents with others around me. My videos have provided such a wonderful outlet to do exactly that.

My interest in hair care developed when I stopped relaxing my hair and transitioned to natural hair. It took about 2 years of trial and error for me to find a routine that really worked for me. Around the same time, I became obsessed with skincare.

My skin was always so oily and my makeup looked like an oily mess. One day I decided I had had enough and I started researching into skincare. With my student budget at the time, I could only afford drugstore products. I went on a hunt for products that are effective but student budget-friendly, I read a lot of product reviews from different websites to help me choose effectively.

At this point I knew what my skin type was, I had looked into what sort of creams work for oily skin and what key ingredients to look for. After months of filling my cupboard up with different products, I finally discovered a routine and products that work for my skin.

Since then it has been a passion. I started an Instagram page on hair and skin care and also making my own face masks at home. I then got my friends and family involved. Now most people I know come to me with all sorts of skincare and hair care questions.

I don't always have the answers but I'm always happy to research and brainstorm with them till we find a solution. It may take time and a lot of trials and errors but it's not impossible.
