Bio

I’m a media student from Toronto with a knack for fashion and a passion for expression through what we wear. While trends are always fun to follow, I prefer to stay one step -or one heel- ahead (I’ll admit I have a weakness for footwear). My instagram serves as a visual mood board of my life and current styles I’m exploring. Minimalism and monotones makes me happy, but a little pop of colour is always welcome in my closet- or maybe my personality adds enough colour already.

I believe social media is great for expressing oneself and sharing those expressions, but I always ensure those expressions are genuine and true to my own values as both a lover of fashion and a human being. This is what sets many of us apart from much of the “influencer” noise on social media, and it is why I chose the name “shelooksleft” - I choose to look beyond the dominant perspective in life and in fashion.
