Bio

My name is Andrea Haughey (pronounced "Hoy"). I'm a printmaker and graphic designer living in Eugene, Oregon.

My story of creativity is just beginning, but let me catch you up:

Originally from the Midwest, I moved from my home state of Illinois to study interior design at the University of Kentucky. This website was originally my design portfolio, but it's become a way for me to offer my words, projects, good and services no matter where life takes me.

After graduating in 2016, my then-boyfriend, now-fiancé and I moved out west into our first apartment together (which you can tour on my blog!) as he pursues his doctorate and I pursue my medley of creative interests—a true tale of the old adage "opposites attract." You can find me at a local coffee shop or tucked away in our cozy home working on my many projects, including custom graphics, greeting cards and blogging.

I'm still finding my footing as a freelancer, and the process has definitely been equal parts challenging and rewarding. I cherish all of the firsts that have occurred within this last year: the first time I saw my cards for sale in a store, the first time I was featured on a list of vendors, the first time my own design was mailed back to me... these are the moments that make it all worthwhile.
