Bio

Greg Lundgren is a Twin Cities-based landscape photographer, specializing in nighttime images of Minneapolis and St. Paul. Primarily self-taught, his photography adventure began in earnest when he bought his first "real" camera in 2007 to capture his daughters' youth hockey games. This hobby soon became an obsession as he began seeking other, less mobile, subjects to capture. The Mississippi river and the city skylines of Minneapolis and St. Paul drew his attention -- especially when the river reflected the city lights at night. "There is something magical about the reflective qualities of water, especially after dark, that continually draws me to the riverfront." This magic has resulted in hundreds of images and led Greg to open his website, www.GregLundgrenPhotography.com, in 2013, to see if there was a market for his work. Notice was slow at first, but has been steadily building in the years since. His images have been used for everything from bus benches to business cards, book covers, CD cases, and calendars. Numerous websites feature his work on their banner pages, including the City of St. Paul. Large prints on canvas, metal, and fine art paper can be found gracing the walls of dozens of businesses and homes throughout Minnesota and beyond.
