Bio

Originally from the Pacific Northwest, I spent my childhood hiking waterfalls, swimming in local rivers, and exploring forest trails with a camera in hand. This is where my passion for photography began. Before long, I fell in love with capturing those special moments in people’s lives, telling their stories in a unique and creative way.

In 2009, I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts Photography from the University of Oregon. For over five years, I traveled across Southeast Asia, China, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and Africa. While traveling in Namibia, I spent time with the Himba tribe and documented their lives in the harsh Kaokoveld desert. Through this experience I developed my style of photography that is both candid and creative, romantic and documentary. My works have been published and featured in Fujifilm Australia, The Huffington Post, We Are Sole Sisters, Intrepid Travel, Hostelworld and other publications.

I am based in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Australia and Portland, Oregon, USA.
