My journey in building a media brand started as a producer of a local lifestyle Television show in Phoenix, Arizona. There came a need to have more varied content and I stepped into the role of on-air contributor in addition to being behind the camera. Travel, restaurants, beauty, fashion, DIY, hacks, recipes, tips and tricks I cover them all.
Moving forward in my new role, I discovered that Pinterest was an incredible source of information which could translate into TV segments. From there, the “Pinterest Interest Gal” was born. Taking the best that Pinterest had to offer, I began producing a segment using pins I found on Pinterest. Sometimes I showcased the pin exactly or take a bit of creative license and add my own twist. After a few segments on the show, viewers wanted to know more about what I was demonstrating so I started writing things down. Writing one-off articles became a full fledged blog. Posting on my casual blog, morphed into a website with my name on it. At some point, YouTube Videos and Social Media came into the mix and the demand for content was skyrocketing. Lots of things were happening over multiple media platforms and Christina Deloma the brand was born.
Producing quality blog articles, TV segments and video content is all a part of my ever evolving personal project and brand. It has been thrilling to unleash my creative abilities. Learning the ropes of online branding has been a challenge, but a fun one. Designing graphics, editing videos and figuring out the ever changing world of YouTube was a lot to to take on and a bit overwhelming at times. Even though I felt like there was so much I didn’t know, one thing I learned is that the media branding community is a close one. There are a ton of resources and a wide range of people who are living their dream, successfully doing what they love. The best part is that those people want to bring others into mix doing something different. When it all seems to be more work than fun, I just click on some of my favorite social media brands and people, reminding myself that others accomplish their dreams in their own way on their own time. Be on the lookout for bigger and better things as Christina Deloma is and always has been, on the track to global domination!
