Bio

Kathy Sandler is a professional Interior Designer with a love for travel, photography, hiking, nature, entertaining, family, books, music, technology, dining out. She is proud to call the "It City"–Nashville, TN–home and gains inspiration from her travels.

Kathy holds a BFA from O'More College of Design, and combines her love of interiors and architecture with her passion exploration and discovery. She is fascinated by fashion and graphics, and appreciates the way design melds across various mediums. Fully versed in all things Adobe and WordPress, she also designs websites on the side.

Listed as one of Modenus' Top 100 Interior Design Influencers for 2018 and a Tastemaker for Global Lighting, she has collaborated with design brands like Brizo, Monogram, Miele, DXV, American Standard, CR Laine, Sunbrella, Peacock Alley, Wilsonart, Cambria, Crossville Tile, Sherwin Williams, Benjamin Moore, York, Rohl, Ford Motor Co., CMT, and many more.

Her design work has been featured in print in Traditional Home, My Williamson, and At Home Nashville magazines, and The Tennessean. She has also appeared on the digital sites StyleBluePrint, The Decorologist, Mod Design Guru, among others. A veteran of three Designer Show House's, one space she designed became a national ad for Sunbrella. She also worked as a Design Assistant for a full season on the production side of HGTV's hit show, Property Brothers, in 2017.

Kathy has attended, photographed and written about design trade shows including the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS), High Point Market (HPMKT), Modernism Week, Architectural Digest Design Show (ADDesignShow), DIFFA Dining by Design, International Builders Show (IBS), Ambiente, NeoCon, Design Week Chicago, Wanted Design, New York Design Week, International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF), Nashville Antiques and Garden Show, International Möbel Messe (IMM Cologne), Living Kitchen, and Maison et Objet in Paris.

Some of her collaborations with Country Music Television (CMT) landed her at one of Jennifer Garner's movie premieres. Working with Brizo landed her on the guest list at Jason Wu's New York Fashion Week show, and a venture with the nashville Fashion Alliance landed her in the photography pit for Nashville Fashion Week featuring Christian Siriano. Enchanted by the speed and beauty of horses, she has served as a media photographer for the Iroquois Steeplechase, Gran Prix Eventing and a charity polo match featuring famed polo player Nacho Figueras, proving that her talents are highly adaptable and inspired by new adventures.
