human: educated in traditional studio arts courses and semiotic contemporary art theory and American Art History as the cusp of large scale digital format murals and cmyk print output started to make its presence known in the art world. my most prolific and culturally significant client is Dr Amalia Mesa-Bains, MacArthur Fellow whom I supplied the perfect pairing of compositional initiative and technological experience to assist her in creating several series of digital images which have been used in limited edition prints and as two dimensional pieces for her traveling installation shows. It was Dr Mesa-Bains that also hired me as adjunct faculty to assist in teaching the life drawing and digital mural courses immediately following commencement for my undergrad degree.
since then I went through a period of digital black out, where I went back to painting and ink drawing and focusing on audio engineering. currently I have been fully immersed in iOS and OS X art production, combining apps in iOS to see where their limits are.
it is where their limits are pushed into a second, third, and fourth app that I find their potentials.
