As a female-owned business, we at The Pink Champa believe in our responsibility to elevate other women. It is not about charity, it’s about empowering women through employment to pull themselves out of disadvantaged and sometimes abusive situations.
The Pink Champa designs are original, hand-made, and artisan stitched in Mumbai, India by an all-female design house of weavers, designers, cutters, seamstresses and embroiderers. The Pink Champa tree is strong, beautiful and vibrant like the women of our company, with deep roots and strong branches supporting their families and being role models for their girls.
It’s powerful and inspiring stuff to be a part of. We started out thinking we were helping them, but we realized along the way that they empower us every day to do the best we can with what we have, to count our blessings and be grateful. We are proud and honored to work side by side with them. We also happen to make some gorgeous stuff for your house too!
