hi. i’m shawn. the face behind The Neat & Tidy Life.

a los angeles lifer, born and raised. i’m a organizing fiend, home style fanatic who obsesses over baskets, bowls, bins and anything that can help tidy up a space, corner or a nook and keep things “neat & tidy” and of course, pretty. i love organizing, styling, diy’ing, living a healthy lifestyle and being a mom to my spunky 7 year old.

i’ve been re-arranging furniture, organizing closets and styling spaces since i was a wee babe, a definite life long passion of mine. when i style a space, i feel energized, refreshed, and like a boss. that’s how everyone should feel in their own space. i’m always on the hunt for cool, functional items and tips that will help make life a bit easier and more organized.
i’ve spent most of my career in the creative arts world; photo, set design, interior design and visual styling for both home + fashion. once amelia came into my life, my love for making the world around us became a bit more solidified. holidays, birthdays, thursday’s, just because…there’s always a good reason to bring a smile to someone’s face.

i love partnering with brands to do this for a broad audience, or work with people like you + me to bring that to your own space. basically, i like to make spaces organized and pretty. oh! and throw some fun parties, too!
