Darcel is the founder of The Mahogany Way, a lifestyle and homeschooling blog. She shares personal stories on the joys and challenges of single motherhood, homeschooling, and the importance of self-care. She is a woman of faith and self-proclaimed fashionista who uses colors, textures, and patterns.

Darcel appeared on Good Morning America in 2017 with her children for a segment on homeschooling.
She has been a guest on the Single Black Motherhood podcast, Raising The Free Child, and Mater Mea, talking about motherhood, racial justice, self-care, and homeschooling.
