A joyful marriage of Roussanne and Marsanne, this Rhône-style white boasts a palate of butterscotch and honeysuckle.

By coupling the golden Roussanne with fellow Rhône varietal Marsanne, we’ve balanced texture and acidity to create a natural crossover for fans of Chardonnay or Viognier. Marsanne, which debuted in California in the 1980s, is the perfect spouse for Roussanne, calming the latter’s acidity and viscosity. Both grapes were harvested from a vineyard in Paso Robles, whose high elevation generates the wildly fluctuating temperatures that offer an ideal atmosphere for such notoriously finicky grapes. This Honey Beast fermented in stainless steel, then aged in 35% new French oak. The resulting wine is round, creamy and full of texture.
Gold honey color. Drops flow quite fast, with low density, showing delicate features. Peach to the nose and a very fading wooden finish with vanilla and buttery. Hints of stones fruits throughout. Picking up light wood and vanilla. Smooth and honey with an easy evaporating floral.
