My name is Alisa the home cook and food photographer on a mission to share as many great recipes as I can with the world. My focus is on healthier family recipes that are easy to make and you can bet there will be some tasty treats too!

In my spare time, I enjoy visiting the local wineries, heading out to the newest restaurant or looking for travel deals. Keeping me busy as well are my two teenage children and a happy dog who can't get enough walks. I am happily married for the last 20 years.

In my past, I have worked for some of Canada's largest brands as an agency Account Executive, in Marketing Management with a heavy focus on new product development only to leave marketing behind and get into Digital Media Sales for the last 10 years of my Corporate Canada life.

Now I am focused on growing a successful online business through my blog working with brands to build awareness for products through creative recipes and promotion.

My experience on all sides of the marketing desk from new product concept to launch, promotion, creative, public relations and digital communication make me an asset to brands I hope to work with in the future. I have a deep understanding of a brand's needs and measures and can put together effective programs to meet project goals.
