Hey there!

Thanks for checking out my page. Having lived in Melbourne for the majority of my life I have always been fascinated by the coffee and cafe scene in this wonderful city. There is a cafe on almost every corner with each providing a unique and interesting experience.

While at university, in order to earn some money I got a job at a local cafe and this is where my passion for coffee began. I started developing relationships with regular customers and began to form some friendships. People were so intrigued with what i was doing, what I was studying, where I was from etc.

As a result, I came up with the concept of Story Behind The Cup. At the end of the day, every cup of coffee has a fascinating, interesting and unique story. Further, there are so many steps and processes involved in creating the coffee that most people take for granted when they rush off to work or consume in a cafe on the weekend.

Our social media platform, provides a fantastic opportunity for coffee professionals to share their story while at the same time generate awareness and further develop their profile whether they are a barista, cafe, manager, coffee roaster, coffee farmer, coffee brand etc.
