Bio

Hi! My name is Mariah but my family and friends call me Riah (ry-ah). I am a small beauty review/unboxing channel on Instagram and I am proud to be a small hometown girl making my mark on Instagram. I know that if you look at my IG you will see that I have been away from reviewing for several months. This is due to a major health crisis in which I was diagnosed with Gastroparesis which is a fancy way of saying that I have a partially paralyzed stomach and digestive system. This required me to have 3 major surgeries back to back in a very small period of time. I did what very few before me have done and that is I Survived! My own doctor's didn't even think I was going to make it, a fact they just recently shared with me. You see I was only given a 30% chance of survival. I am their miracle patient. This journey has taught me to go after what I want cause it won't be handed to you on a shiny platter. I am now able to return to what I love doing and that is reviewing/trying out new beauty products. I know that I have a small following right now but I am working hard on growing my numbers. I love all things beauty and makeup and skincare. I also have a serious obsession with subscription boxes.
