Bio

Rhea 's blog is all about fashion from her point of view, at only 4'11" she likes to relate to all the other petite women and mom's who also adore fashion. As a stay-at-home mom and wife, no matter what you're doing or going, you can always look fabulous on a budget! She likes to share her insight's about style and also the people she meets in the fashion industry. Empowering and following her dreams is a major part of her blog's agenda. She's always been a creative person, loves to sew and crochet, collect fabrics and magazines, loves to go to the museum to find inspiration. Most importantly, Rhea loves spending time with her family, she is also a wife, and mom to 2 adorable kids, so from time to time you will see a post about them and about family life.
Background: Rhea had a unique life style growing up. She always loved art and fashion ever since she was a little girl. She's worked for a Radio Station WOR 710AM, where she would share her back to school shopping tips and what's on trend for the upcoming season. In 2003, her first internship was for Betsey Johnson where she was the youngest candidate since she was only in high school at the time. Usually only college students were allowed to intern but Rhea did amazing on her interview, and they took her in right away.
Rhea's also interned for Vivienne Tam (2003) and Cosmopolitan Magazine (2007).
Rhea's been in and out of the fashion industry giving her time to help out during Mercedez Benz Fashion Week in New York behind the scenes. She's helped out in shows for Isaac Mizrahi, Monique Lhuiller, Vera Wang, Betsey Johnson, Anna Sui, Nicole Miller, Tracy Reese, and Venexiana.
2011 She finally got to attend her first fashion show at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York and it was for I C B by Prabal Gurung. She got to sit in the second row as an attendee and it hit her that she actually didn't have to work a show for the first time. It was a great feeling and accomplishment since she's always dreamed of being an attendee. Rhea then started Sew Stylish Rhea to share her sewing projects, her passion for fashion from her personal style, fabric shopping, and fashion/beauty events she attends. In 2013 she collaborated with The Mobile Media Lab and Insta Meet for New York Fashion Week, where she was one of the selected Instagrammer's to attend Tommy Hilfiger's Fall 2014 Fashion show. She got to take pictures of behind the scenes and capture images of the fashion show, meet Tommy in person too which was also a wonderful experience.
