Scars of Atrophy

About

Scars of Atrophy is a thrash metal band from Arizona formed by the remaining
members of Atrophy. In 2015 Atrophy reformed to play clubs and festivals to fans
who never had the chance to see these songs played live. After having the European
Atrophy tour cut short due to the pandemic and the singer leaving the band, the three
remaining members were not ready to call it quits. Still loving to play Atrophy songs
and with ten new songs written for the 3rd Atrophy album they are forging on! Out of
respect for the original Atrophy lineup, we decided to call the band Scars of Atrophy.
The band will be playing the Atrophy songs from Socialized Hate and Violent By Nature
along with their new songs.
Keeping their thrash roots alive with blistering speed
aggressive rhythms and power, they are heavier, faster and ready to take on the
thrash world. Joined by Dave Ruiz ( Prelude to Ruin) on lead guitar and Mike Niggl
(Motive) on vocals Scars of Atrophy have the perfect line up to destroy.. See you in the pit!!
