Sally Snacks was created when my dog Sally was battling cancer. I started doing research and was horrified to learn that most dog food brands were full of artificial preservatives, sugars, grains, cheap fillers, added hormones, antibiotics and something pretty awful called "meat by-product." No thanks. I knew from my own cancer battle that nutrition is the foundation of good health, so I started hand rolling New Zealand venison jerky treats , with a little organic turmeric to reduce the inflammation and support her immune system. She went bonkers! It was so great to see her tail finally wagging again!

When Sally passed, I knew that I wanted her to have a legacy. I never wanted anybody to go through what I went through, trying to find a safe and delicious treat for their dog. We recently added chicken and lamb to our Sally Snacks line, and trust me when I tell you that the butchers I source from in L.A., whose clients are all the best restaurants in town, can't believe I'm making dog treats out of their meat! But you and I know something they don't - our dogs aren't pets, they are members of our family and they deserve the best.

Sally Snacks will never compromise the integrity of our original recipe by using any ingredients to lower the costs. We know that nutrition is the foundation for good health and we intend to be a part of the revolution of animal wellness. We have the power through education and our wallets, to make better choices and hold the 28 billion dollar Pet Food Industry accountable. This is the revolution.
