Bio

I discovered running in my late 20s when I hopped into a local 5k race and realized "I might be good at this"! Next came 10ks, half marathons, marathons and ultra marathons. After becoming an avid ultra runner and trail runner, I discovered the sport of OCR (obstacle course racing).

Currently I'm on the Spartan Race Pro Team and am passionate about functional fitness, strength training, performance nutrition, health and wellness. Now that I'm in my late 40's, I hope to continue to inspire other women out there to make time for themselves and fitness and realize that "age is just a number".

As a single "hockey mom" of 2 boys, it is important for me to exemplify strength, resilience and perseverance. One of my favorite mottos is "Hard work pays off". I'm also an entrepreneur of an athletic apparel brand and I get grass roots marketing!
