My name is Rodrigo de Almeida and I grew up in Caracas, Venezuela until December 2014 when I and my parents decided to move to Lisbon, due to Venezuela's political crisis. The South American country has been caught in a downward spiral for years with growing political discontent further fuelled by skyrocketing hyperinflation, power cuts and shortages of food and medicine.

Life was simple. As I am getting older, I'm slowly understanding the importance of preparation, hard work, and respect. I'm applying these values to my endeavours by planning my activities for efficiency, working on my goals every single day. I am student, I speak English, Spanish and Portuguese. When I'm not glued to the books, I spend time running, surfing, cooking and trying not to be the worst tennis player, or hang out with my friends. I'm currently working on my Instagram. In addition, one day I will become a biologist in the near future...
