Whether he’s performing shimmering, hopeful piano ballads or dark, sexually charged rock anthems, 20-year-old Robin Tucker is always searching for the truth in every chord and lyric.
A classically trained pianist and singer-turned-Berklee College of Music student, Robin draws influence from artists like Evanescence, Enya, In This Moment, and Lindsey Stirling.
Robin’s 2018 debut album, Wild, detailed a search for identity and lasting love, calling upon energetic electro-pop, soft piano, and acoustic guitar to tell stories inspired by Romeo and Juliet (except they live on a farm with lots of murder), Veronica Roth’s “Divergent” series, and his own teenage life. The album’s lead single, “You Love Me,” spent four months at #1 on OurStage’s pop competition, winning the Grand Prize for Pop in February 2020.
Robin is currently finishing a hard rock record about chronic pain, depression, and anxiety—a seemingly dark journey that during the Covid pandemic gave his life new, unexpected, and beautiful meaning.
Robin is studying Professional Music with concentrates in Songwriting, Music Business, and Music Production at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Robin also works for NY-based independent artist and celebrated musician career coach Cheryl B. Engelhardt.
