At the end of 2018, there were 38.2 million licensed vehicles in Great Britain, an increase of 1.2% compared to the end of 2017. I was intrigued to find out how much water is consumed washing these cars. I conduct a car wash research and realised that a small polo car consumed 95 litres of water per car wash and every car at least gets one car wash per month so i multiplied 2million car by 96litres and the results i got were shocking. This encouraged me to start a water saving campaign by starting a steam car wash business to encourage car wash businesses to adopt the technology to save water.
