Qwiktarp Inc. is the invention of an automotive painter and his sons, who created it out of outdoor necessity. They needed something simple to cover the back of their pickup trucks when they went hunting and fishing. Many of the modern truck covers they noticed were large, cumbersome and needed two people to install. Today's truck bed covers are made from either a hard plastic, aluminum or fiberglass; most of which require assembly and installation. The Qwiktarp team created their waterproof tarp as an Easy-On/Easy-Off emergency bed cover to be installed/removed in a matter of minutes, without any installation tools or truck bed alterations, which meant there is NO altering of the truck bed or loss of cargo space.
