Bio

My name is Jillian Feulner, but you can call me Jill. I’m here to share my experience with pilates with you, because it’s part of who I am. From my early dance days in my undergrad, to pursuing a masters in journalism, marrying my best friend, two children, and several cross country travels, Pilates has been a central part of my journey.

I married one of the first frogs I ever kissed! When we started dating a decade later, Matt soon became my prince. We’re originally from the Chicagoland area, but we’ve had many adventures because work requires that he travels quite a bit. Soon after we got engaged we moved to California outside of the San Francisco area where I opened up the first Romana’s Pilates studio in the area. When I became pregnant for the second time and our next journey to the beautiful Pacific Northwest in Northern Idaho was on the horizon, we decided it was best for me to sell my studio and focus on raising our little girls.

Pilates is a part of me. My workouts are shorter these days but, anything is better than nothing. I do try once a week to get a full hour in and do the workout alone. During the week I do what I can with the kids – they love being part of my workout!

I love sharing my stories of motherhood as well as share with you how I’ve learned to stay in shape before, during and after pregnancy. In between our travel adventures we love to play on the beach, hike, and eat a lot of ice cream. I can’t wait to learn more tips from other mamas out there, too, and help to build this community online.
