Bio

Hi! I'm Mieke.

For the past several years my life has been dedicated to exploring everything our beautiful planet has to offer together with my huskies Tron and Aki. What started out as personal documentation, grew into something much bigger. With the knowledge and experience it’s brought me, I hope to share my story, and inspire others to get out there and live their dreams.

I grew up in the Netherlands, and was lucky enough to be brought up by a family that cherished travel and the outdoors. This appreciation of nature at a young age fueled my passion for it today. Over 7 years ago, I adopted Tron as a small husky puppy while living in the north of Vietnam. He grew into the best travel companion and has been by my side for thousands of kilometers. Aki joined my family almost three years ago as a rescue from Shanghai. His curiosity and hunger for adventure is an absolute perfect match!
