Hi everyone!
I am a very focused, driven and determined individual. I played for various youth academies in England before venturing over the United States as an 18 year old on a soccer scholarship.
In conjunction with my role at Pro Soccer Consulting Ltd (Head of Youth Player Recruitment), focusing on assisting current college players in pursuing a career in the professional game, I am the Director of The 10, which I am eager to grow in 2017.
Although my main background is youth and professional soccer, I would be interested in collaborating with other influencers in terms of product branding, sponsored posts and marketing for companies trying to grow their brand and following.
Having played in all college divisions; (NCAA, NJCAA & NAIA), and having played under coaches from all edges of the world, I was able to build my own, unique coaching philosophy that has allowed me to positively influence hundreds of youth players. Deciding not to pursue a professional soccer career, I found myself coaching the stars of tomorrow in Orange County, California.
A little bit about The 10:
Primarily a '10' in his playing career, known for his unique vision, passing range and soccer brain; Haynes has the experience and know-how to guide players to becoming the most influential player on the field: The Creative Player, 'The 10'. Haynes is also passionate about being able to mold the soccer brain of the player, enabling them to see the field in a way that will vastly improve all facets of their game.
The 10 Director, Sam Haynes "I whole heartedly believe that through our specific training program and individual guidance, we can create far more creative soccer players. Soccer is about being able to express yourself and there are too many restrictions on what players supposedly can and can not do on the field. It is our vision at The 10 that players are to be free on the field, and therefore able to express creativity that could be coached out of them otherwise."
Michael Dye: Head Coach of Brewton-Parker College 2010-2014 (Coached Haynes from 2011-13) "Sam is the most technically gifted passer of a ball I have seen outside of the professional ranks in my time in college soccer." said Dye before he handed Haynes his Most Valuable Player Award for his Senior Season at BPC.
