MEL ROSE, a New York City native who grew up in the Morris Park section of the Bronx, embodies a lifestyle that can best be described as a modern-day Carrie Bradshaw. She unknowingly launched her career by creating her beauty and fashion YouTube channel back in 2009, capturing the attention of hundreds of thousands of people across the globe. A writer at heart, Mel Rose started Food and the City in the hopes of focusing more on her adventures through cooking, travel, relationships, + a more intimate look into the life as a late 20-something’er still figuring it all out.

Most recently, Mel Rose was featured as a published writer in the July 2018 issue of Vanity Fair.
