Just a Dallas gal who moved to New York City to work in the exciting world of fashion only to find 3 years later that my love for dogs overtook my love for shoes after getting my first NYC dog, I had a dream in my UES apartment that I started a site for the modern-day dog moms of the world. Three dogs, 4 apartments, and endless dog events later Gal's Best Friend is reaching thousands of dog moms around the world.

With 3 rescue dogs in the city, every day is a different day! I am on the board of Global Strays, the pet editor at BestProducts.com, and have a book deal for a children's series aimed around my dogs.
