Bio

With myself being English and my husband coming from a traditional little village in Shkoder, we spend a lot of time cooking and eating traditional Albanian food. Making Albanian food both in Albania and here in the UK can be tricky. Loving traditional Albanian food, you come to learn that all the ingredients are grown at home or produced locally, there is no set measurements, temperatures or cooking times plus the ingredients will vary from person to person.

My website and recipes are here to help you make a traditional dish in your own home, all tried, tested and perfected so you can get it right the first time.

I also have a lot of my own dishes which are Albanian inspired and dishes you can make with your left overs!
