MUNNYCAT is the production duo made up of LA-based songsmiths K808 & Khaledzou. They’ve joined forces to blur the lines between anthemic cool-kid noise pop and golden-age hip hop. The result is confident, creative, and completely infectious. 2 total collaborators - they love each other, they live together, they write and produce together, they even shoot and edit their own music videos together. MUNNYCAT makes energetic and empowering neon-colored west-coast bops, with car-rattling kick drums and grimy percussive layers. Their highly anticipated new slow jam “MILLIONAIRE (jz + bncé)” will be released on 11/15. It follows their technicolor pop bop "don't stop (drip drip drop)," which reached #1 on Hypemachine after earning instant praise on Aupium, Substream Magazine, Digital High, Zone Nights, The 405, La Musique Sismique and the Burning Ear. Since their last release, their music has been featured in an Adidas PulseBOOST HD ad that’s racked up over 1.8 million views, adding to their 100+ other commercial syncs which include New Balance, Wendy’s, eBay, Xbox and Target.
