Award-winning Mommy Blogger and Lifestyle Expert Kristin Quinn has 15 plus years of experience in Sales & Marketing. Highlights of her career include working for Martha Stewart Omnimedia - where she helped plan and implement an exclusive product line into Kmart stores - and Dorel Juvenile Group (purveyors of the Quinny, Maxi-Cosi, Safety 1st, and Cosco baby product brands). There she served as both a Senior Product Manager and Senior Channel Manager developing products and introducing brands to retailers like Babies R Us, Walmart, Target, Sears, and Specialty Retailers. In 2012, Kristin chose to fulfill her dream of running a yoga studio and owned Charlestown Yoga in Boston until 2015.
She is now the author of the popular Misadventures in Mommyhood - a humorous parenting blog (and book!) with both a national and international audience helping to bring “the truth & nothing but the truth” to everyday moms with a heartfelt tone. She is a featured writer for Stroller Traffic Boston and Mommy Poppins Boston and also serves as a brand ambassador and spokeswoman for several companies around the country including Safety 1st (currently), Seventh Generation, Fidelity, CVS and PediaSure. She is also part of the TODAY Show Parenting Team.
Her work has been featured in Boston Magazine and Scary Mommy. She has been a guest speaker on NECN, ABC, and CNBC’S POWER PITCH, as well as NPR’s One Bad Mother. She has also served as a keynote speaker for Mommybites’ Ultimate Mom’s Night Out. Kristin’s blog was up for best parenting website for the Creator’s Choice Awards in 2015.
As Kristin continues to build her own brand, she is seeking solid relationships with reputable consumer brands or new and innovative product and service companies. As she has done with previous partnerships, her aim is to construct long-standing programs and ambassadorships that will bring awareness, followers, and adopters of both parties.
