Soldiers of the Damned, the WW2 psychological thriller, which I produced and starred in, won Best Director recently at the Marbella International Film festival and was nominated Best Picture.

A former International fashion model, I trained and worked as an actress and musician before I was awarded a first in my BSc in Archaeology and a distinction in my MSc in Environmental Archaeology from the Institute of Archaeology, University College London. After this I moved to Durham University on a PhD scholarship. I also work as a producer and development exec for Viking Film and Television.

My hands on love of travel, adventure, food, history and the countryside is drawn from, and layered with influences from my archaeology background, my formative years growing up in a farming community in Ireland, a keen interest in folklore and social history, and from the other side of the coin; my life as an actress and fashion model whizzing from fashion capital to far flung location.

I do like a good ferret around into the past, and a good shoe.
