Hepatitis Survivor, Liver transplant Survivor, living with Osteoporosis, and Lymphedema.
Giving Knowledge on chronic diseases, the power of organ donation and culture on transplant. In partnership with the department of Health raising awareness on Hepatitis. An influencer of self-acceptance after being diagnosed with lymphedema which caused disfiguring in her leg.
Madimo Mokgosi at the age of 30 is cultivated, outspoken, courageous and always passionate about sharing her health journey. Not everyone is determined in putting their stigma in public but she has the ability to assist those diagnosed, to live positive and to overlook what the illness may do but what can be done to treat it.
With her passionate outspoken skills, she has motivated and gave knowledge to patients and Health practitioners at Steve Biko Academic Hospital and FF Rebeiro PHC Clinic. Done training with different regions involved in the Health department in Mpumalanga for the World Hepatitis Day. Addressed the community of Limpopo alongside with the Health MEC Dr Phophi Ramathoba .She also made her presence at the University of Pretoria to speak to the Allieds Health Sciences students, where students were given a chance to ask questions on what they have studied how the patients feel, being provided that most of the students are only allowed at the hospital on their fourth year.
