Miela is an Italian-born Eritrean creative storyteller who was raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Miela's passion for self care and soft living traces back to experiencing a lot of physical and emotional stress. She is a mental health advocate who encourages and motivates women to take a step back, breathe and live in the moment. She enjoys a good dewy foundation, a multilayered skincare routine and a 90-minute deep tissue massage. She believes self care can be affordable and is necessary to living a long and stress-free life.

As a plus-sized Black woman, she creates content that allows all women to be empowered by their bodies regardless of their size.
