Bio

Melissa Macedo is a native Angeleno. She is an actress, singer-songwriter and identical twin. Melissa's acting credits include the Hulu Series “Casual,” as well as the critically acclaimed Netflix series “Girlboss.” Melissa is starring with James Franco in the highly anticipated upcoming film “Blood Heist.” In January, she filmed the lead role in “Pearl” directed by Bobby Roth (Lost, Prison Break, Agents of SHIELD, five time Sundance Director) alongside Golden Globe winner Anthony Lapaglia and Larsen Thompson. Most recently, she starred in a film called “Every Time I Die” which will be out in theaters this August.

In addition to acting, Melissa is in the music duo MACEDO, opposite her twin sister Michelle. They have been featured on WNYC’s Soundcheck, Ladygunn, Huffington post among many others.
