The Melanin Magic Club is the answer to the age-old question, why aren't there more black or brown characters in children’s learning or play? We're also answering to an even deeper-rooted issue within our society, which is the consistent undermining, undervaluing, and misrepresentation of black women & children.
This reality means many of our young girls are growing up struggling with self-love and self-confidence, and we finding that many are growing up to hate their skin, hair, and African features. This constant undervaluing within society can take years, even decades to overcome, if ever.
So we have given birth to the Melanin Magic Club, a lifestyle children's brand with an array of activity gift sets, toys, and branded items for both learning and play. They are designed to empower black girls and cultivate their self-esteem, self-worth, and self-identity for ages 4-9.
