Bio

Hellooo! My name is Ashley and I run the account Mediocrefatty on Instagram, Tik Tok, and Youtube. I created Mediocrefatty out of frustration with the lack of body diversity within plus size media. I grew up feeling like I was the "wrong" kind of fat because I never was exposed to plus sized people shaped like myself.

My goal is to increase diversity, representation, and celebration of people who fall outside of "socially acceptable fatness". I lead by example by styling and modelling clothing from plus brands, and creating looks that I love on me (notice that I didn't say "FLATTERING") while also providing others with my body type a reference of how that clothing would look on them . Outside of body politics, I speak with my followers about self love, fashion on a budget, cooking, and what's going on in my life.
