My name is Maxime Lavoie, and I am in charge of PR matters with the Montreal indie label, Hopeful Tragedy Records, home to Your Favorite Enemies and Alex Henry Foster.
I manage press and playlist curation for the label, with a focus primarily on experimental music within the rock genre. This includes Post-Rock, Psychedelic, Krautrock, Noise-Rock, Post-Punk, as well as more cinematic soundscapes like Soundtracks, dark folk, and ambient music, but I am open to ANY kind of music.
I am also a playlist curator and manage several playlists that have gained credibility over the years. I like to pretend that I am an influencer once in a while, and I enjoy creating small music critiques and sketches that I humbly post on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
