Biography

Marcus Mars is an international artist and designer based in Norway.

With his art, Marcus hopes to convey his personal
feelings around the questions of life. Through the symbolism of this unique art
the viewer is given an opportunity to create his own interpretation, thereby generating
a personal relationship with each piece.

The art that Marcus crafts is thought-provoking, timeless in form,
giving an impression of both weight and fragility depending upon
the individual viewer's eye and mood.

"It is important for me to incorporate both my feelings and my experience when I work.
My pieces start as an idea inspired by my intimate, personal thoughts. I have
a vision about the way the finished product will look, but when I hammer and form the hot metal,
I let my creativity and fantasy influence the result."
