MANOLO ROMAN.
Manuel Bartolome Gomez Roman was born in 1967 in Granada, Spain. In the 90s he studied arts at Arts School of Granada, Spain. However, he has been a self-taught student mainly during his formative years. His works despite of having a unique and concrete personality, they are different from one life stage to another. These different stages reflect his constant desire of self-improvement and self-evolution as an artist who undergoes new approaches to art and its possible techniques. For that reason, he has been visiting various places as New York, New Jersey, Berlin, Amsterdam, Paris, London, inter alia. These cities allowed him to grasp the multiple ways of creating art and inspire him to create his own. Also, in these places, he had the opportunity to show his art and collaborate with some galleries and institutions such us with the university of Rio Piedras in Puerto Rico or an exhibition in the News Building in London. Five years ago, he moved to London and since then, he has been working in a new set of paintings which are again distinct of the previous artworks and which can be seen in our page Manolo Roman.
