Chris Lesner Biography

Chris Lesner is the Founder and CEO of Project World Impact (PWI). Chris was born in Michigan, but grew up on four continents—which has given him a global perspective.

While Chris was in university, he helped start a digital marketing company that grew to have significant revenue in just two years, working with multiple Fortune 500 clients. At age 20, Chris founded PWI, with the vision of being able to impact hundreds of millions of people. Near the end of college, Chris left his original company, to devote his full-time to PWI.

PWI has now created projectworldimpact.com, a nonprofit “hub”, which actively helps thousands of nonprofits grow their reach and raise money online. The nonprofits on the PWI site cumulatively raise over $1 Billion in funding each year and have also been seen by over 15 million cause-minded users via the PWI site since inception.

Chris also established a marketing arm of PWI aimed at providing a full-range of marketing services - websites, apps, lead generation, graphic design, SEO, marketing consulting, and more. PWI works with multiple Fortune 500 clients as well as hundreds of companies around the country helping provide marketing support.

Chris serves on multiple nonprofit boards and is an advisor to many organizations. Chris is a guest lecturer at multiple universities, a sought-after speaker, and has been featured throughout many media outlets—which highlight leaders in the entrepreneurship space.

Chris lives with his wife, Jenn, Levi (4), and Judah (2) in Wayne, IL.
