LilyBug (aka Bug) is a 7-year-old rescue Pit Bull living in New York City with her mom, Marisa, a former Co-Executive Director of Mr Bones & Co., the 501c3 animal welfare nonprofit that rescued Bug in September 2013. Marisa fostered, and ultimately adopted Bug, after falling head over heels for her sweet & affectionate temperament. Over the years, Bug has changed countless minds about Pit Bull type dogs with her signature #ahugfrombug, which also earned her the nickname "The Hugging Pit Bull." Bug has been featured on numerous media sites, including The Dodo & Refinery29, and has worked with brands such as BarkBox, Capitol Records, Sony, Swiffer & Whistle, to name a few. Bug continues to spread positive Pit Bull awareness via her Instagram (100K), FaceBook (2K) and TikTok (150K) accounts.
