Bio

I'm originally from Greater Manchester but am very very proud to call Newcastle upon Tyne (aka Geordieland) my home. I'm passionate about flying the flag for this little corner of the globe.

Along with my Geordie boyfriend and pet dog Pat, I'm always discovering new experiences and unearthing hidden gems, despite having lived here for nearly half my life.

Peaceful parks, world class arts and culture, an abundance of festivals and events and legendary nightlife all mean there’s never an excuse to be bored. Plus, when it comes to my guilty pleasures, shopping and eating out, I’m seriously spoilt for choice!

By sharing stories about our adventures across the region I hope to inspire locals to get out there and enjoy what’s on their doorstep. I also get lots of feedback from tourists who tell me that this blog is a valuable source of information when they’re planning to visit the area.
